Samples received from supplier for review - review sent and feedback received, they will implement updates, new sample underway. Still no lead time info.

Only black only is suitable for deep etch as silver is unlikely to be ready in time. Deep etch team can manage with this as long as they have a silver swatch to use for photoshop.

Package design done- in sampling with supplier. 1 weeks.

Not suitable to add light colour update at this late stage. Looking to see if the supplier has an option to change from ‘cool to warm’ light and can’t implement possibly integrate with Home Automation Systems (speak with Tony on DNC on Cloud). We would need to develop the lighting PCB separately in order to have cool to warm lighting available.

In terms of production readiness for flock is very much PO dependent. Mina will push Yoshi to send purchase order once design is finalised.

WINTER- even with airfreight will be late due to production lead time. Product sample not completed yet.

Decided to move to electrical up down down mech due to costs and risks associated with converting manual to multi point system. Tarmac keep conversation moving with Coffey on the electrical up down system. Also Tarmac contact Dylan re App release schedule to decide whether we release with App or with remote functionality instead. Dylan has confirmed can be done by Ingenuity (end of year lead time, however business will need to commit to costs).

Not shooting until a direction has been decided.

Tarmac to set meeting with TR regarding the modular details conversation before discussion with DK.

Talk to DK post Euroluce to confirm that he hasn’t changed his mind based off any previous discussions. Current thought is up down mech (fixed lights only?) and modular system option. Need to ask DK if he’s okay with a round on it’s own or only in modular format.

The tooling done on the stool is incorrect, this needs to be addressed with GL & fabricator. A whole new seat form has been developed with updates- prototyping request with soft tool (limited use). Find out info on pricing and timing of soft tool- Mina. Making progress with no lead time yet. Mina follow up Shiyang and explain the lead time for sale.

COUNTER STOOL: Shorter frame approved and will be incorporated into Timber stool, same base concept used for mesh stool.

Pricing is too high for veneering, Will price product (DK decision) assuming 50% cost reduction from TH.

Bed instructions are critical. Dom will do a back up video but possibly CS can handle the video.

Packaging sent over. Ji is started- Alinta will follow up.

Working on extending sizing rollout after flock.

California King- not for US flock, but will be offered- GL for mattress, and other beds.

Alinta has sent BOM costing from GL to Jason on 24/03, Jason takes it from here. DK decided must stay in TH.

DK’s test sample underway. Expecting to see TH corner piece sample on Monday afternoon. Didn’t deliver, not getting the point of QUICK proof of concept in Thailand. Wednesday night still not ready.

New idea from Frank underway, but not sharing it with Alinta yet.

CNC of the corner parts misquoted and has gone from approx. $18 up to $30 per set. Possibly negotiate down $3 or $4 but no lower. Tested the cast corners with new CNC (oversized). Improved the fitment. Still some movement in the assembled parts, will show DK Thursday morning.

Mosquito net sample arrived Monday Afternoon. Was cut too small so doesn’t fit well. Can be resolved at a later point though.

Corner caps shade system- update CAD and send off 27/03- assess lead time requirements, sun lounge headrest covering system- underway with Allan. Most finished this week. Might be redundant if changing the corner joiner.

Cabana seat cushion reticulated seat with mesh cover (no glue) completed. DK can sit it in tomorrow. Mesh cover seems a success so far. Alinta suggests swing tag applicator to hold foam together for dome. Alinta will try to get a costing.

Powder coat samples not yet received from Thailand- Alinta will follow up Nan. Colour chips to match only picked up on Wednesday, no feed back on lead time for samples.

Knock-ins will be tooled in China, Jason approved.

Thursday morning expecting the Cabana briefing with Wichai, delayed for a week.

Photoshoot samples to be made in Thailand and TU. Some Leura and white tempest in TU- Sebastian managing with Paul. (Relying on Thailand pattern updates before this can be completed, expected 19/04.)

FLOCK + Production from KFT as well as some Tempest and Leura covers for photoshoot.

Flock- 60 seats white frames completed which all need updates for magic joiners. Single seat is completed. All white frames of corner/seat/chaise are signed off apart from magic joiner. The covers are not yet signed off. Magic joiner solution for flock is angle nailing on, still to test before confirmation. This Thursday we expect an update on when flock can be produced. We will update Michele after that point.

Photoshoot is mid may- photoshoot covers completed by start of May could be

3 weeks late for flock at this stage (with one week Songkran) need update from Frank who is not responding to Seb. Floppy cover on the corner post DK updates, Wichai needs to urgently update so we can start on flock.

Super soft foam exploration

DK wants to explore using a super soft foam which is high density to replace dacron in some circumstances. Seen it at Cassina.

The team found a foam to replace LT48, rejected because they didn’t understand the purpose of the foam, as a back up supplier. It wasn’t as good as LT48 so they rejected it. Perhaps they misunderstood the brief.
