ISSHO ROUND DINING TABLE / FAQS
 Â
Â
Â
Â
Q- How is the Issho Dining Table constructed? Â
A- The Issho table is constructed using a steel frame and engineered timber with veneer over the body. Engineered timber is a term we sometimes use instead of mdf, so this is not solid timber. The legs are a structural lightweight polyurethane foam with veneer, so different to the top again.Â
Â
Q- What is the thickness of the Issho tabletop? Â
A- The table top thickness for both timber and ceramic tables is 25mm, and ceramic thickness 6mm. This means ceramic table tops are 6mm thicker than timber table tops, and will sit 6mm taller.Â
Â
Q- Can you convert the Issho Dining Table Circle 1590 from an open base to closed base? Â
A- Yes, If your customer would like to covert the table to the plinth base they will need to purchase the metal plate.                                                                                                                                                   Â
Â
Q- Can we supply the Issho Dining Table with Pumice and Salt Ceramic tops? Â
A- No, We currently only supply the Issho in the timber finishes, and select ceramic finishes we may look at introducing other materials into the range later depending on the demand.Â
Â
Q- What screws are required for the Issho Dining Table? Â
A- PN12129082Â
Â
Q- How does the self-cleaning channel work on the Issho Lazy Suzan Dining table? Â
A- The built-in lazy susan sits flush with the surrounding tabletop and conceals a self-cleaning channel that prevents the build-up of crumbs or channels. As you turn the lazy susan around, the bristles on the underside, sweep any crumbs to a hole in the channel of the table and the crumbs will fall on to the floor where they can be swept up.Â
Â
Q- What is the thickness of the timber veneer? Â
A- The veneer thickness is 0.4mm. The sub-strate is MDF for the top and polyurethane moulded foam for the legs, so should be stable in dry conditions. The top is also reinforced with a steel frame within the MDF sub-strate for improved rigidity and stability.Â
Â
Q- Can the Issho Dining Table be placed outside? Â
A- No, we don’t recommended Issho to go in any non-indoors environment. There would be a number of concerns – mechanism parts seizing and veneer on the legs peeling from too much moisture exposure. If the customer decided to go ahead, it would stand for a time, but the product life span would be strongly compromised and not covered by our normal warranty schedule.Â
Â
Q- Can you remove the lazy suzan from the Issho Dining Table? Â
A- Yes, you can remove the lazy susan, on the underside of the table you should see two holes, if you poke through one that should lift the lazy susan up and you can lift it out from the cavity.Â
