How does KING comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) Safety Regulations?

Materials Used: Our upholstered products are crafted with materials that meet or exceed the UK fire safety standards. From the fabric to the filling, every component is selected with both comfort and safety in mind. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that all materials used in our sofas are compliant with the regulations.

Independent Testing: Before any materials are used in UK products, they undergo testing to ensure they meet fire safety standards. This includes tests for ignitability of covers, fillings, and foams. Only when they pass the required testing within the regulations these tests do we consider using them within any of the ranges that we create.

Continuous Compliance and Improvement: Compliance with the UK Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations is an ongoing process. We monitor any changes to the regulations, our production processes, and materials used, to ensure that our products not only meet but exceed the current regulations.

All our fabric and leather that is sold in the UK has passed or is treated to pass the below tests to meet UK retail domestic standards:
