A- The reason for the seams at the front is to allow the fabric to curve with the shape of the platform, although those seams look straight on the platform they are actually cut in a curve shape before being sewn together.

A- The concerto plus backs have a steel frame in the back rest. We would advise the customer to remove the frame from the back cushions as the head rest will provide the same if not better support.
