King Cinema Headrest and Backrest Cushion Update

Overview:

Adjustments are being made to the Cinema headrest and backrest to address creasing and puddling issues on units manufactured before Production Week 2508 (17/02/2025). A new design change has been implemented, modifying the backrest cover pattern to include a zipper that attaches to a fly glued into the backrest foam cushion.

Key Updates:

·        Change Start Date: Production Week 2508.

·        ECN Number: 00000174 – refer to https://kingliving.sharepoint.com/sites/Retail-Hub/SitePages/Electronic-Change-Notifications-(ECN).aspx

·        Components Updated:

o   Headrest cover (includes a fabric pull tab for improved structure).

o   Backrest cushion cover and foam insert (zipper-compatible design).

Replacement Process:

·        If a CS request is received regarding headrest wrinkles or backrest creasing, or replacement backrest cover or backrest cushion insert is ordered:

o   Verify the unit's production date.

o   For backrest/headrest units manufactured before week 2508, replace both the cover and foam insert to apply the updated design.

Instructions for Existing Sales:

·        For replacement orders, new backrest cushion inserts must be supplied with the updated backrest covers to ensure compatibility.

·        Replacement covers must be produced at their original manufacturing location due to zipper incompatibility across GL, KFT, and TU production sites (between white frames and covers).
