Issue:
Some customers have reported sinking near the backrest of the chaise. This occurs because flex guards were removed from the design. The holes for the flex guards remain in the metal frame, allowing for their reinstallation if needed.
Step-by-Step Reinstallation Instructions
1. Obtain Parts
Picture | Part Number | Part Name |
 | 12134117 | King flex guard |
 | 11061278 | 4" spring |
2. Locate Holes on the Frame
3. Install Flex Guards
Insert the 4" (100mm) springs into the designated holes at the backrest area of the frame.
Attach the flex guards over the springs, securing them tightly to ensure they provide the necessary support.
4. Tighten and Secure
Before and After Comparison:
Before:
Without the flex guards installed, the chaise may exhibit a sinking feeling near the backrest when pressure is applied.
After:
With the flex guards and springs reinstalled, the chaise should provide improved support and prevent sinking near the backrest.
Final Check
Ensure that all flex guards and springs are firmly in place and that the chaise feels sturdy. If any issues persist, contact CS for further support.
