titleMy 1977 Chaise is sinking, is there a fix?

Issue:

Some customers have reported sinking near the backrest of the chaise. This occurs because flex guards were removed from the design. The holes for the flex guards remain in the metal frame, allowing for their reinstallation if needed.

Step-by-Step Reinstallation Instructions

1. Obtain Parts

  • Obtain the 3 x 4" (100mm) springs and 3 x flex guards required for the reinstallation.

3. Install Flex Guards

  • Insert the 4" (100mm) springs into the designated holes at the backrest area of the frame.

  • Attach the flex guards over the springs, securing them tightly to ensure they provide the necessary support.

4. Tighten and Secure

  • Double-check that the springs and flex guards are securely in. Ensure that no components are loose.
