On ​Oct 19, 2023 it was decided by Charles to proceed with a new hardness of moulded foam for the seat of the barstool and counterstool. This selection will be used for future production batches once the initial batch of moulded pieces is used up. The selected sample is labelled as ‘soft’ below.

The tolerance set with the foam moulding supplier is 45-55 shore hardness.
