MINA ANNUAL LEAVE PLAN:

 

  1. Jordan invited to R&D meeting every Monday to stay updated on project progress. Can answer any R&D questions and discuss with Alinta/Pearson/Tanya/Ned as needed

  2. When Jordan on AL – in his absence, Alinta/Pearson/Tanya please answer R&D questions

  4. Sent emails to Coffey at INFINITELUX, Tom Fereday and Charles Wilson about my Annual Leave dates. And to contact Jordan or Ned if they have any questions.

KATO LIGHT: sample being delivered on Wednesday 17/8. Ned/Jordan please review the quality of the parts and email feedback to the supplier.

KATO LIGHT: Ned/Jordan please check that flock quantities have been produced with supplier. Please request photos to review the quality of the parts.

ALUMINIUM POCKET ACCESSORY: Follow up payment of CAPEX for ‘Aluminium Pocket Accessory’ tooling based on drawings I sent

KATO PENDANT LIGHT: Follow up sampling based on drawings I sent

PENDANT LIGHTS: answer any questions regarding production documentation when this is shared with them.

 

GL TOPICS:

ELEVATE DESK:

  1. Follow up sourcing of sample legs

 

LUNA TIMBER BARSTOOL:

  1. Follow up sampling of pieces ready for production in November

 

ETO DESK:

  1. Follow up tooling invoice for die cast rail. Organise payment with finance at TU. Tony will approve CAPEX. Forward approval to Shiyang so that the supplier can proceed with producing the tool.

  2. Follow up any questions from production drawing pack.

  3. Follow up sampling of the individual parts required to make the complete ‘golden sample’

TURRELLA TOPICS:

KATO LIGHT:

  1. When the marketing team finally share a name, we can begin the process of entering this into SAP to place the flock order. And have it ready for customer orders. This may need to wait until I am back to confirm the SAP details.

 

KATO PENDANT LIGHT:

  1. CAD packaging concepts – refer to sample parts of the Kato Light to determine scale

  2. Prototype packaging concepts – use sample parts to check fit

 

PALLINO PORTABLE LIGHT:

 

  1. CAD packaging concepts – use sample parts to determine scale

  2. Prototype packaging concepts – use sample parts to check fit

 

 

ELEVATE DESK:

 

  1. Complete assembly of prototype with veneered legs and capacitive touch buttons

  2. Gather all feedback from design team including Manolo input

  3. Build CAD models that implement Manolo and design team feedback

  4. Review CAD models with Manolo

  5. Generate production level CAD model. Use ETO as reference. Can be multibody part or an assembly. Includes all the hardware selections. Implements all the relevant feedback.

  6. Production drawing pack – use ETO Desk drawings as reference. Share with Shiyang to inform the production of a GL sample.

 

 

STRAIGHT PENDANT LIGHTS:

 

  1. Core out extrusion profile to save material and weight - refer to sketches. 1mm wall thickness

  2. Production drawings of the Aluminium extrusion – maybe ask for Dylan’s help. Review geometry with Manolo

  3. Assembly drawings of the LED strip, screws diffuser and end cap. For all three sizes.

 

 

ROUND PENDANT LIGHTS:

 

  1. Implement Manolo feedback – diffuser could sit on an angle allowing the timber finish to be visible – refer to sketch.

  2. Drawings that communicate multiple different manufacturing methods to make the timer ring. Bent lamination, machined laminated block, etc.

  3. Assembly drawings of the LED strip, screws and diffuser. For all three sizes

 

PENDANT LIGHT REMOTE:

 

  1. Prototype designs to determine scale, proportion etc. - feedback from design team

  2. Production CAD model based on team feedback with all details dimensioned for supplier

  3. Production documentation ready to share with INFINITELUX

 

PENDANT LIGHT WALL BRACKET:

 

  1. Ideate different designs based on Zara’s renders

  2. 3D print prototype designs to determine scale, proportion etc. - feedback from design team

  3. Production CAD model based on team feedback with all hardware selections

  4. Production documentation ready to share with INFINITELUX

 

 

LUNA UPHOLSTERED BARSTOOL:

 

  1. Pay for 3D printed plastic shell when Charles shares file with the supplier

  2. Use new foam to pour a firmer seat in the existing mould. Current prototypes are too soft. Review the hardness with Charles. May wait until I am back.
