The Purpose:

Use the Offline Conversions API to send offline conversion events and to see how many customers viewed or clicked Facebook ads before converting.

The offline events are pulled from View and uploaded to Fb via Offline Conversions API

How It Works? (On Portal)

On Portal-AU: Go to Customers => Facebook Offline Conversion

Steps:

  • Write the upload tag:

Upload Tag is optional. It is the name of the event and if left blank the portal will auto set the name to current timestamp.

  • Choose the min date

  • Choose the max date

  • Click Upload to Facebook button.

Hitting the Upload to Facebook button, the program fetches the view for the given timeframe and upload it to the Facebook.

On success/Failure => The system generates the messages.

On Success: You will see the activity log on Facebook.

Activity Log:

The Facebook business Manager can view the activity logs.

If you are the Facebook Business Manager

To see the activity log:

  • Log in to: Facebook Business Manager

  • Navigate to Events Manager => Data Sources
